The Sierra del Edrinal was shrouded in cloud again this morning, so Simancon and Reloj will have to wait another trip. From Montejaque we wandered through the Sierra Montalate - limestone features for miles & gryphon vultures overhead. Dark clouds threatened a few times, but the most striking thing is that it probably didn't get over 20C today. (Guy Hunter-Watts' "The Walk of the Hidden Valley 16.5 km", a few anxious moments at times of imprecise directions, but we never strayed!)
Gryphon vulture above the karst
Do a close up & count them!
Yes, we walked the length of this
Dwarf oak forest amid the limestone
Circuit almost completed

It looks really beautiful - did you remember to take some binoculars?
